<h2>Key details</h2><ul><li>Date: 22 April - 20 May 2025</li><li>Sessions: Tuesdays: 2:30pm - 4:30pm</li><li>No. sessions: 5</li><li>Venue: Online Courses, Nottingham</li><li>For ages: 19+</li><li>Group size: 5 - 15</li><li>Cost: FREE - £35<br></li></ul><h2>About this course</h2><p>This is a course for adults who would like to learn basic computer programming using the Python 3.0 language. It is aimed at total beginners to coding – no previous experience is required</p><p><strong><strong>What will be covered on the course?</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Learning to display text on screen.</li><li>Adding user-input data to your code</li><li>Decisions that control the code</li><li>Looping – repeating actions</li><li>Using variables to store and retrieve data</li><li>Understand the use of functions, objects and classes.</li></ul><p><strong><strong>What will learners achieve by the end of the course?</strong></strong></p><p>Learners will learn key principles of coding. They will understand how to plan and write short, simple programs in Python 3.0</p><p>Learners should be able to use a computer, mouse/trackpad and keyboard.</p><p>Learners will need access to a laptop or desktop computer with at least a microphone (headset or built-in).
