Northern Ireland’s Creative Learning Centres (CLCs) are the AmmA Centre (Armagh), the Nerve Centre (Derry/Londonderry) and Nerve Belfast (Belfast).

Simple Coding Activities to Stimulate Problem Solving

PLEASE SIGN UP USING YOUR C2K EMAIL ADDRESSCourse DescriptionThis course is aimed at teachers who would like to bring simple coding activities into the classroom using the Code with Google Computer Science First platform. This course will introduce you to hands-on activities following the Scratch curriculum.Target audience: Key Stage Two and Key Stage Three teachers. Curriculum Links: Relevant to all curriculum areas, specifically numeracy and Using ICT. Resources/Materials/Apps Required :<ul><li>A computer/mobile device with the Zoom app installed.</li><li>An iPad/PC/Mac with an internet connection.</li><li>Access to Scratch on an iPad/PC/Mac</li></ul>Other InformationThis course will run from 3:30 pm until approximately 4:30 pm and will take place on Zoom. Once you have booked onto the course you will be invited via email to the live session on Zoom. All materials and resources will be provided at the end of the session. Please note, this course is only open to teachers, classroom assistants and school technicians working in Northern Ireland.
