Join us and build your network at Coffee & Connect at Exeter Science Park, a monthly networking event designed for businesses on the park and the wider community to come together, connect, and grow over coffee and breakfast. Held on the third Tuesday of every month, this event is an opportunity to meet fellow professionals, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations in an informal setting.

Each session features a special guest organisation bringing valuable business support. This month, we are pleased to welcome HyphaPro Ltd, a biotechnology start‑up pioneering sustainable protein production through precision fermentation. The company aims to supply proteins for food and non‑food applications, while also exploring strain licensing as a complementary revenue stream.

Andy Foster, Founder of HyphaPro Ltd, will share insights from building an early‑stage biotechnology start‑up, exploring how precision fermentation can unlock more sustainable routes to protein production. Drawing on real‑world experience, Andy will discuss the opportunities and challenges of developing eco‑friendly protein solutions across food and non‑food applications, as well as the commercial considerations of scaling innovation, including strain licensing and future growth.
