Coffee Cupping/Tasting
Join us at Avocafé for an evening of fun and casual coffee cupping experience as we collaborate with Michaelangelo from Franco Specialty Coffee, where you’ll taste and compare 4 to 5 carefully curated coffees locally roasted by Franco.
We will be showcasing our newly launched house coffee, Casa Avo, a single origin coffee from Brazil. We will be also be tasting highlights from Franco's current coffees and also hear a little about how his coffee journey.
This is open to everyone, whether you are a coffee newbie or a seasoned coffee drinker, this event is about discovering different coffee and what makes each cup unique. It will be a fun and casual event.
What is a Cupping?
Coffee cupping is a simple yet effective way to taste and compare many coffees side by side. It is also a standardised method used to taste, evaluate, and compare coffee. It’s commonly practiced by coffee roasters, buyers, baristas, and enthusiasts to assess a coffee’s aroma, flavor, acidity, body, sweetness, and aftertaste.
Avocafé will be open to provide additional coffees and drinks for purchase during and afterwards. Cupping coffees and nibbles are included in the event.
