Description

Collaborative Coding

This course is for teachers who have already introduced coding into their classroom and who want to push themselves and their pupils further.

The course will focus on building confidence in teachers to troubleshoot code in their class. Working together you will tackle a series of coding and debugging challenges. For the first time we will have a code clinic, a space where we can share, discuss and solve common issues or problems that teachers experience in the classroom. Our aim is to help encourage and support you as you take coding further in your school.

A basic knowledge of coding and computational thinking at a primary level is required and we will encourage you to use the coding software you are most comfortable with, for example Scratch, Tynker, Hopscotch etc. Please come with a few ideas of projects/topics they would like to cover in the classroom for the upcoming year.
