Collaborative Commissioning Workshop

Creating space for third sector organisations to shape new forms of provision, and help people to thrive with less housing support.

Over the past year, EVOC has been working closely with the Third Sector Reference Group and colleagues in the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership on a new approach called Collaborative Commissioning.

The objective is to find fresh ways of delivering support that not only improve outcomes for individuals but also make better use of public resources. This approach is creating the space for Third Sector organisations to innovate, shape new forms of provision, and ultimately help people to thrive with less reliance on Housing Support services.

This is not about delivering the same services for less; it is about doing things differently so that demand naturally reduces over time.
