Overview

Hear from those who have used these innovative alliances to improve their construction projects

This event is designed for every stakeholder in a construction project to learn more about how to use integrated project insurance to deliver better, more equitably profitable buildings.

Discover how Insurance Backed Alliancing (IBA) and the Integrated Project Insurance (IPI) model are transforming construction delivery.

Join us for an insightful session exploring how collaborative alliancing—underpinned by the IPI model—has led to better, more efficient outcomes across real projects. This event is designed for all stakeholders involved in construction—from architects and clients to contractors, engineers, and surveyors—who want to learn how this model can improve profitability, reduce risk, and enable genuine team integration. (this might not be the case me might want to focus on people who want to build, clients rather than the rest of the team)

What you’ll learn:

  • How the IPI model enables all parties to break out of their silos and work as a unified, integrated team from day one.
  • Why the “no blame / no claim” structure removes defensive behaviours and fosters collective problem-solving.
  • How gain/pain share mechanisms drive performance, reduce waste, and bring financial transparency.
  • The value of early supply chain involvement, behavioural selection, and independent assurance in delivering buildings that are truly fit for defined purpose.
  • Why clients benefit from cost certainty, earlier project starts, and active participation in decision-making without the need for a financial “war chest.”

Whether you’re new to the concept or ready to implement this approach, this session is a practical opportunity to understand the real-world impact of IPI from those who’ve done it. Please invite colleagues from across the construction industry to be part of this forward-thinking discussion.

There will be time to mingle with professionals across the sector, and our networking refreshments come courtesy of Constructing Excellence East Midlands East Midlands – Constructing Excellence Midlands
