Linguistic Profiling can help you explore the hidden depths of communication styles in the workplace.

Do you manage large teams of people, including colleagues you may not see face to face very often? As a leader are you required to engage your team's perspectives in decision making? Are you struggling to get individuals to take you seriously? Or would you like to encourager collaborations within your team to enable complex decisions to be made?

This workshop examines the linguistics of decision-making and how to create effective teams. It investigates how to sustain effective rapport management between colleagues, clients and customers.

Who Should Attend?

* Small Medium Enterprises (SME) based in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This event is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020. This event is classed as State Aid to participating businesses, the value of which is £379, but is delivered completely free of charge to participants.

What To Expect:

This workshop takes a hands-on approach showing business owners and leaders how to deal effectively with the complex process of decision-making. This will help you to deliver the best results in future. Our workshops offer a unique training experience as they are based on real-life professional interactions and include interactive drama and performance elements with our dedicated team of actors.

Workshop Leaders:

Dr Gavin Brookes is the LiPP Research Fellow and LiPP Business Consultant. His research sits at the interface of discourse and social life, in particular the way people communicate about health and illness.

Dr Malgorzata Chalupnik is the LiPP Teaching Associate and a LiPP Business Consultant. She currently conducts research in the area of professional communication, focusing in particular on leadership and interpersonal communication in the workplace environment.
