Call for Reading-based artists and project participants. A pre-application event for all who are interested to meet and explore ideas.

Reading Biscuit Factory

We are currently looking for four artist-teams to develop designs for a three-dimensional public art piece in collaboration with participating organisations and groups. One design will be selected for commission. The final piece will be sited in a prominent location in a new residential development on Weldale Street, Reading.All are welcome. If you’re a Reading-based artist, if you work with a local organisation or group that might be interested in participating, or if you simply want to find out more, we hope you’ll join us for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.The project launch will be an informal event. There will be opportunities to: <ul><li>Explore the project theme, Our Domain</li><li>Discuss ideas with potential project partners</li><li>Meet the Project Team and ask questions</li><li>Enjoy Reading's newest venue, Reading Biscuit Factory.</li></ul>Further information is available on the project website at <a href="https://ourdomain-reading.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://ourdomain-reading.co.uk </a>and we will be holding a second pre-application event at the development site in November (date TBC).
