Join us for Collage for Wellbeing.

Slow down, relax and enjoy a mindful morning of collage in this friendly mixed-media workshop. No experience needed and all materials are provided.

Join mixed-media collage artist Caris Jackson for a fun, friendly workshop exploring collage as a calming and reflective practice. No previous experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.

This session is designed to help you:

  • Relax and unwind
  • Discover the meditative qualities of collage
  • Find your creative flow
  • Explore ideas, experiment with materials and let your imagination lead the way.
  • Enjoy some creative freedom, try something new and see where the process takes you.

Caris will share her inventive creative processes and visual resources, gently guiding you through the workshop in a supportive and welcoming environment.

What’s included

All materials are provided, including:

  • A4 grey board
  • A wide selection of vintage and printed papers
  • Paint, glue, brushes, scissors and embellishments

You’re also welcome to bring your favourite scissors or any personal images you’d like to incorporate into your collage.

About the artist

Caris Jackson is a mixed-media collage artist based in Shrewsbury. Her theatrical collages are created by re-purposing vintage prints and papers, layered and embellished with recycled fabrics and found objects.
