Workshop series for 𝚆𝙰𝚈𝚂 𝙾𝙵 𝚁𝙴𝙼𝙴𝙼𝙱𝙴𝚁𝙸𝙽𝙶 exhibition.
Join us for an evening of collaging and turn pieces of your memory into something you can hold onto.
Whether big or small, joyful or difficult, every story matters — and we'll create a space to honour yours.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll be guided to create a collage of your own.
You’re encouraged to bring photographs, prints, or other personal items to work with. But you’re also welcome to use the wide range of materials we’ll provide.
We'll introduce different techniques for working with the materials and incorporating them into your piece. The creative process will be largely self-directed, with the instructor available for one-on-one guidance, technical support, and creative advice.
At the end of the session, participants are welcome (but not required) to share their collages with the group.

About the instructor:
Shou-An Chiang (@shouansonice) is a Taiwanese visual artist based in London. Her photography and videos explore the ambiguous concepts of relationships and identity. Chiang's practice and research of the alienation built from the diverse society draw on her own undefined identity experience, as she delves into the philosophic themes of duration, existence, and phenomenology.
