The Loft - Tea By The Sea

During the one-day workshop, Jane will discuss her work and printing technique, and proceed to help you print and paint your papers ready to make your own collage.You can bring your own image to work from or a photograph as a starting point for your collage. Wear something old as it's bound to get messy! Most of the materials will be provided but Jane asks that you bring your own paint brushes and acrylic paint. There will be some available if not.Tea/Coffee and homemade biscuits will be provided by The Loft Tearoom. Lunch can be ordered upon arrival and delivered to you Upstairs at The Loft or bring your own packed lunch.Jane is a self- taught artist inspired by the flora and fauna of her surroundings along the River Colne and the Essex coastline. She also enjoys creating still life collages and seascapes using hand printed tissue paper. Her images have been transferred onto items such as greetings cards, placemats, coasters and tea towels, and sold by local retailers.
