Why we’re doing this

We know that one of the biggest barriers to starting a tech business is developing the technology, especially when founders have great ideas, but lack the technical know-how to implement them.

At COLLIDE, we aim to connect tech-minded individuals (aka potential co-founders) with people who have business ideas and help them thrive together. COLLIDE has been a successful part of Sunderland Software City’s startup programmes, which aim to support the creation and growth of digital and tech startups.

Many of us within Sunderland Software City have been in your shoes as part of a start-up or the wider tech and start-up ecosystem around the UK. We are human; we are here to listen, chat, and help you on your journey
