Design Informatics

If the World Economic Forum considers creativity to be the third most valuable asset in the workforce of the future then what are the barriers to creative opportunities that care experienced young people face? 
What solutions should we propose to foster their creativity in Scotland, making it truly ‘the best place in the world to grow up.’?
A Collider is a conceptual design event, bringing together computational thinking and design thinking, to pull informaticians together with designers and problem-holders.  At the start of the Collider we set the scene with a challenge statement from Eona Craig, Chief Executive of the Articulate Cultural Trust. This will be followed by three inspirational provocations (Maggie Inchley, Queen Margaret University London; John Morrison, Napier University and Laura Beveridge, Stop:Go Group) before we break into a dynamic workshop sessions where, together, we create potential solutions ...
Event registration will open at 1.30pm for a 2pm start.
Collider organised with the Articulate Cultural Trust and Napier University.
