About this event
Come and join us for a 6 week block of evening classes on Dorothy Black’s Colour and Composition Course. These classes could carry on from the “Back to Basics” classes or would be equally suitable for complete beginners or more experienced.
During this course we will :-
DRAW with COLOUR - explore different techniques and investigate and use COLOUR THEORY.
USE colour to create effects, ie use COMPLIMENTARY COLOUR to create impact.
EXPAND drawing techniques and mark making using blocks/contour lines etc
EXPLORE and use compositional techniques to understand foreground/middle ground/background etc, use of VIEWFINDERS, THUMBNAIL sketches etc.
