Colour and Mood: Four-Week Course

Explore colour and mood over a four-week course with tutor Franca Westaway.

We all respond to colour in unique and personal ways. During this 4-week course will focus on different material processes each session, giving opportunities to explore, understand and play with colour. Through creative writing, collage, photography, colour theory and mixing with paint and other media you will be encouraged to go through set-tasks and self-directed mini-projects whilst exploring chosen themes, ideas, thoughts and feelings in your work. We will take time to look at how other artists use colour and how this might convey meaning and evoke response.

This course is a chance to get playful and mindful, develop your artistic eye and take time out for making and creative exploration, working alongside others and with a supportive and knowledgeable tutor.

Please note there is an additional cost of £8 per person to cover materials.

Please bring:

A notebook and pen/pencil, comfortable clothes and/or and apron that you don’t mind getting messy.

Cancellations and refunds

Workshops cancelled with less than five days’ notice are non-refundable. An Eventbrite admin fee will be automatically deducted for workshops cancelled with more than five days’ notice.
