No. This workshop is designed for complete beginners. You’ll learn the fundamentals in a clear, practical way that anyone can understand.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing. All materials, worksheets and tools are provided. Just bring yourself (and glasses if you need them for reading).

I’m coming alone — is that OK?

Absolutely. Most people come solo. The workshops are relaxed, friendly, and welcoming — it’s a great place to meet like-minded people.

Can I buy this as a gift?

Yes. This workshop makes a thoughtful gift. You can purchase a ticket in someone else’s name or email me after booking to arrange an e-gift voucher.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn how designers think about colour — how to test, compare and refine choices using undertones, materials and light, rather than guessing from a paint chart. The focus is on building confidence through process, not memorising rules.

Will I go home with something?

Yes. You’ll create a small, exploratory colour palette and take home swatches and tools used in the workshop, along with a clear method you can apply to your own space when testing colours at home.

Is the venue accessible?

Unfortunately, this venue does not have full accessibility. The workshop room is accessible only via a set of stairs, so please take care when using them. There is a toilet on the same floor as the workshop room. If you would like to attend a workshop at a fully accessible venue, please contact us.

Yes. The workshop is designed for everyday home decorators, not professionals.

Will there be refreshments?

Refreshments are not included, but the café offers a wide range of drinks available for purchase before and after the workshop. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure your order is ready in time for the workshop's beginning.

Small group of 8–12 people, so everyone gets support and space to work.

What happens after the workshop?

After the workshop, you can use the process you’ve learned to test and refine colour decisions in your own home. If you’d like further support applying it to a specific room, optional 1:1 design help is available.
