<h2>OUR SECOND OPEN COMBAT ARCHERY TOURNAMENT comes to Oxford on 10 DECEMBER 2019!</h2><h2></h2><p>We get it. We&#x27;ve been there. It was a stressful day at the office. You had the tutorial from hell. You&#x27;re practically bursting with stress, you need to cathart. Hard. You could spend an hour at the (expensive, boring) gym pounding the (even more boring) treadmill. You could drown it all in Netflix and tortilla chips.  Or you could try the medieval solution: put on your armour, shoulder your shield, pick up a bow, and shoot someone. </p><p></p><p>Yeah, you read it right. No, don&#x27;t call the police.  Combat archery is a safe sport using modern protective masks, padded arrows, and low weight bows to give you the medieval warfare experience without risk of the usual associated medieval injuries. in a team of four, two are equipped with (yes, real) riot shields, and tasked with protecting the other two, equipped with bows. Your task is to neutralise the opposing team and win the match - by shooting their archers (hits to any part of the body are counted as kills, excluding the feet), or by shooting out their roundel targets in the dead zone separating the teams. But remember - they are trying to do the same to you. There is no cover, so you must also defend your own archers, and use your tactical skill to exploit your opponent&#x27;s vulnerabilities. </p><p></p><h2>For only £32 your team of four is guaranteed two matches. </h2><p>Matches take place outdoors on grass, under floodlights. Between matches, you have access to a warm and well equipped rugby club bar serving great beers, spirits, and bar snacks.</p><p></p><h2>Sounds like your horn of mead? We thought so. Book your team ticket now!</h2><p>Please note that participants are asked to arrive in good time to sign consent forms and attend the opening briefing at 6.30pm. Teams are encouraged to wear team colours or uniforms, but the organisers reserve the right to require the removal of any article of clothing or costume that may pose a risk to the wearer or other participants.  The organisers also reserve the right to remove or prevent access to any participant who they consider in any way to be endangering their own safety, or that of other participants or staff. Unlike your standard medieval warlord, your safety is our first priority.</p><p></p><h2></h2><p></p><p></p>
