The event is not suitable for children less than 8 years old.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is limited public transport running to Failand at the time of the event so you will need to have your own means of transport. There is no parking adjacent to the Observatory so you should park in Hill Drive, off Weston Road.

Why can I not bring a telescope to the event?

Our Public Liability insurance does not cover the use of equipment by persons who are not members of the Bristol Astronomical Society.

Since the tickets are not on sale until just a few hours before the event we think it unlikely that any refunds will be required, but if you have a good reason to want a refund, please contact the organiser at outreach@bristolastrosoc.org.uk
