Join us for a panel discussion exploring South Asian political activism in 20th Century Britain - In Conversation with Taj Ali co-editor of Tribune Magazine, and guests including Aamer Anwar- lawyer and political activist. We will explore the political activism and stories of South Asian communities in Scotland and across Britain.

Taj Ali is the co-editor of Tribune Magazine. He is a well-established journalist and commentator, with a focus on class and socio-economic inequality. He was previously industrial correspondent at Tribune, one of the few journalists specialising in coverage of trade unions and the world of work. He has written for the Huffington Post, Metro and The Independent, among others. He is also working on a book documenting the rich tradition of political activism in the British South Asian community.
