Comedy Improv Beginners: Improv Principles & Performance - 8 Week Course

WHAT IS IT?

An opportunity to get your teeth into long-form improvisation with other people (18+) who don't mind getting a bit silly - with the option of performing to a public audience at the end!

We will cover the following across the eight weeks:

WHO?

Taught by Liv Long, comedian and founder of Improv-on-Sea. This course is open to all experience levels and will cover the basic principles for the absolute beginners.

WHEN?

Every Wednesday evening from 4th February for eight weeks, 7.00pm - 9.00pm. The last week will be Wednesday 25th March.

Charlotte Burt School of Dance, Clyde Road, Saint Leonards, United Kingdom, TN38 0QE in St. Leonards-on-Sea.

ACCESS

We would love to make the classes as accessible, inclusive and welcoming as possible. This venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. We hope to find a venue that is wheelchair accessible when we run courses & classes in future. HOW MUCH?

• Standard Pricing: £165 plus booking fee, for the full course of eight weeks plus a ticketed performance evening. The date and time of the performance will depend on the attendees' availability - we'll discuss this in the first few weeks of the course
• Concession / Low Income Pricing: £125, plus booking fee, for the full course of eight weeks plus a ticketed performance evening. Please use this pricing if you need it, limited to four per class. The date and time of the performance will depend on the attendees' availability - we'll discuss this in the first few weeks of the course. FAQS

• What if there’s a week I can’t make it?
  
  You'll be able to attend a drop-in class for free if you're able to give me more than one weeks notice - just let me know!
  
• Do I have to perform?
  
  You don't have to if you don't want to, of course!
  
• How long will the performance be?
  
  40-50 minutes across the whole group. That will likely be split in two, depending on numbers.
  
• What is your cancellation policy?
  
  If you let me know two weeks before the course is due to start, you will be refunded in full, minus ticketing fees. If you cancel within two weeks of the course starting, I will refund you 60% of the total cost back, minus the fees.
