Spend a few hours with us at the Portsmouth Distillery; experience our bar*, the Rum Shack, and enjoy a night of amazing live comedy - right in the heart of historic Fort Cumberland! Presenting... Comedy @ The Fort (#5)!We are opening up our cocktail 'Rum Shack', and indoor bar exclusively for this event - serving fresh cocktails, as well as our delicious spirits, throughout the whole night... And, we will have our very own pizza oven cooking up fresh, handmade, artisan pizzas (by a professional pizza chef...), which will be on sale until around 19:30! Doors open at 17:30, with the acts commencing at 20:00.We have some fantastic comedians coming down - Jake Lambert, Vlad Ilich &amp; our absolutely amazing headliner; Jo Caulfield! With appearances ranging from many tv shows, series &amp; live shows, and many awards between them... Here is a bit more about each of the comedians:

Jo CaulfieldWhether you’ve seen her on TV shows such as “Have I Got News For You” or “Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow”, heard her on the radio on “Just a Minute” or “Stop The Press”, or caught her live at one of her award-winning Edinburgh Festival shows, the chances are you’re already familiar with Jo’s work.Described by The Observer as “one of the finest female comics at work” and by The Scotsman as “quite simply, a damn funny woman” Jo can regularly be seen headlining the UK’s biggest and best comedy clubs. She is also in high demand on the corporate circuit, speaking at and hosting dinners and award ceremonies for many leading companies across the UK and beyond.

Vlad IlichWinner of Up The Creek’s One to Watch 2019 and the Stand Up Club’s New Comic of the Year, Vlad is an up and coming comic, actor and writer, hailing from Macedonia. He moved to London two years ago and has been making a name for himself on the comedy circuit ever since. His style is both personal and observational, drawing inspiration from his own unique perspectives as a millennial Eastern European living in London. Vlad has appeared on BBC Radio 4 Extra, and BBC Three. As an actor, he has trained in Malta, Scotland and the US.

Jake LambertJake fell into a career as a stand up, after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad he decided to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It has proven to be a great choice with him making it to the final of the Amused Moose Final 2016, semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Award 2015, Magners New Comedian of the Year 2015, English Comedian of the Year 2015 and the Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year 2015.
