Relaxed online session for parents/carers in Suffolk exploring how drawing can be used to help develop social understanding and interaction.

SENDIASS is hosting a relaxed online session for parents and carers in Suffolk UK where specialist teachers from the Communication and Interaction Service will explore how comic strip drawing can be used in school and at home to help children and young people develop social understanding through drawing.The Communication and Interaction Service is one of the Specialist Education Services who support schools to support pupils with communication and interaction needs.The session will explore:How drawing can support children and young people to better understand their own feelings and other peoples&#x27; feelings in social situations.Examples and practical ideas to build your confidence in creating and using comic strip drawing. Y﻿ou don&#x27;t have to use your video or microphone if you don&#x27;t want to - you can just listen or use the &#x27;chat&#x27;.
