This two-part workshop introduces participants to the sensory, scientific, and photographic methods used in Richard's practice and research.

Participants will prepare soils for chromatography by breaking down, agitating, and readying samples for development.

Workshop 2 focuses on setting off and developing soil chromatograms, learning how to read and interpret their patterns, and concludes with the creation of lumen prints as an alternative photographic response to soil.
