About this event

Start the week in our comfy social area for free tea and toast and a relaxed, informal chat with staff and volunteers from Fur Clemt, ReMade Wigan or our Keeping It Together Project.

You can tell us what you watched on the TV over the weekend, request new additions to our 'Tasty Not Wastey' ready meals, make new friends, eat a bit of toast (but no talking with your mouth full) and show us photographs of your cats/plants/kids! Just come and join in the conversation!

Please note: This event will not run on Bank Holiday Mondays.

Fur Clemt CIC is a Community Interest Company. 100% of our profits are used to support the project and our community. We are part of the worldwide 'Real Junk Food' movement abd we are dedicated to reducing edible, wasted food reaching landfill. We collect surplus from suppliers and make it available to the community - reducing food poverty through our cafes, food outlets and food sharing scheme.

Our Keeping It Together (KIT) Project delivered in collaboration with ReMade Wigan, offers a series of skills based courses that aimed at helping our community to live well. Courses include Crafts, Cooking, Nutrition, Parenting, Gardening, Health & Wellbeing, Woodwork & Furniture Upcycling, Business and Professional Development and IT Skills.

KIT has been 'Funded by UK Government', Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and the Workers' Educational Association (WEA)
