Community Climate Action Programme Information Session

Are you a social entrepreneur working in community-led climate action – whether you’re at ideas stage or already making impact?

Thanks to National Lottery players, UnLtd and its partners, the Centre for Energy Equality and Voice4Change England, have received £3.3 million from The National Lottery Community Fund, allowing them to seek out and support social entrepreneurs engaging underrepresented communities in climate action.

UnLtd is keen to support founders with lived experience and deep roots in the communities they serve, including people from Black, Asian and minoritised ethnic communities, disabled founders, and those working in areas experiencing economic disadvantage.

We’re offering grant funding, personalised support and access to the right connections for social entrepreneurs helping their communities take practical action on climate change – reducing emissions, creating jobs, skills and confidence, and pioneering practical climate solutions where they are needed most.

The programme focuses on four key areas:

• Green transport
• Home energy
• Sustainable food
• Reduced waste and consumption

Who should attend?

We welcome anyone aged 16 or over who has an idea, project or early-stage venture that aims to engage racially minoritised, low income and disabled people in climate action.

Applications are open from Thursday 1st October.
