Where exactly is the Folklore Rooms?

The Folklore Rooms is a small venue above the Quadrant pub. It's roughly equidistant between Brighton station and the Develop conference (5 mins walk from each).

Why are you running this event?

Communities are so important to the games industry, but there isn't a huge amount of support for those dedicated to building and nurturing them. We thought it'd be a great opportunity to bring together some likeminded people to learn from and support each other.

Will the event be filmed or recorded?

No. It's for the people in the room and Chatham House Rule will apply: you are free to use information from the discussion, but are not allowed to reveal who made any particular comment. It is designed to increase openness of discussion and create a safe space for sharing and supporting each other.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Sadly, because The Folklore Rooms is located in a (very) old building there is no wheelchair access. Please be aware the stairs are also reasonably narrow and steep.
