Community Fest is the opening event of this year's Refugee week and it is a celebration of all the communities across Lancashire. This is an event for the whole family and includes food tasting, screenings, performances, workshops for families and grown ups, and a show floor with interactive activities.The event is run in collaboration with Lancashire County Council, Preston City Council, and the University of Central Lancashire. <h4>Age Policy for UCLan events</h4>Attendees Aged 16 and Above:<ul><li>We are pleased to welcome individuals who are 16 years of age or older to attend our events independently. This change in our policy reflects our commitment to making our events accessible to a wider audience, including young adults and students.</li></ul>For Attendees Under 16 Years:<ul><li>All attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. It's important that each child under 16 is with someone over 18 for the whole event. This ensures their safety and compliance with our event guidelines.</li></ul>By attending our events, all participants agree to adhere to these guidelines, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for everyone.
