Community for the Adoption and Advancement of AI in Further Education
In person and online collaboration event to agree the next phase of our collective approach to AI adoption across the FE system.
The next meeting of the Community for the Adoption and Advancement of AI in Further Education will bring together senior FE leaders, policymakers, and sector partners to agree the next phase of our collective approach to AI adoption across the FE system.
Building on the strong momentum of the community and recent national conversations on AI leadership, the session will focus on moving from insight to action. A central element of the afternoon will be the presentation of findings from the AI Leadership Survey, providing a clear national picture of shared priorities, challenges and areas of opportunity.
Through a combination of short contributions from key partners and facilitated discussion, the session will:
· Explore the policy, sector and international context for AI in FE
· Consider the “art of the possible” through perspectives from industry and research
· Agree how the community should prioritise activity, align effort and work differently together
· Form cross-college collaboration groups to develop practical roadmaps and accelerate progress
This session is designed to support collective decision-making and the shaping of a co-ordinated, sector-led approach to AI investment and system change. Attendees should expect to contribute, influence priorities and help define the actions the community will take forward on behalf of the wider FE sector.
The meeting will be relevant to colleagues with strategic responsibility for digital, data, curriculum, operations and transformation, and to those empowered to make or influence decisions at institutional level.
