Community Garden Volunteering Session

Community Garden Volunteering Session

Overview

Drop in session lead by Durham Wildlife Trust

The University has teamed up with Durham Wildlife Trust to host a friendly volunteering drop-in session at the community garden on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month.

These sessions are a great opportunity to:

  • Learn what’s happening in the garden that month
  • Get seasonal tips on planting and garden care
  • Receive guidance on key tasks to support the garden’s health and biodiversity

No experience is needed—just come along, get involved, and enjoy some time outdoors with others who care about nature and sustainability.

Staff, students and local residents of all ages welcome but children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
