Community Joy Potluck
Calling the Queer, Black and Brown communities ( +allies) for a community joy potluck!
be part of our Community Joy Potluck!
Community joy potlucks bring communities together in a world that often seeks to divide and isolates us.
Sharing food and joy practices become an act of resistance and collective rest.
what to bring:
- a dish that brings you joy
- BYOB
Optional:
- a joy practice to share with us: this could be a poem, a song, an object, an act of resistance that brought you joy, anything that can inspire joy as a form of resistance.
- £5 suggested donation towards the café costs, cleaning fee, materials to host the dinner. Both cash and card options available on entry.
- Smaller amounts & no donation also welcome, you will not be turned away.
- bring tupperwear if you'd like leftovers!
- suggestions for the next community joy potluck
