Community Yoga Class 2026
Come join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating community yoga class where we can stretch, breathe, and connect with our neighbours!
Our Community Yoga Class is designed to be accessible to all, by being donation-based, offering a low-pressure, friendly, and inclusive environment for those who find standard yoga costs prohibitive.
The class focuses on gentle yoga movement, pranayama exercises, and relaxation for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. You will be guided by a recently qualified teacher who aims to support students' journey and foster a sense of well-being. We emphasise on exploring what feels good, creating a welcoming space for everyone to participate and feel calmer and lighter afterward.
We focus on exploring what feels good in your body, encouraging you to move in a way that supports you. The aim is for you to leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more connected.
Key Focus Areas:
- Strengthening and stretching tired muscles
- Improving posture — reducing rounded shoulders and forward head position
- Building hip flexor strength and improving pelvic mobility
- Easing backache and tension
- Developing greater awareness of relaxation — so you don’t carry the week’s stress into the weekend
Your donations pay for the teacher, equipment, venue, administration and maintenance of the studio (cleaning and repairs).
Donation - Pay as you feel, we recommend £5 per class if reasonable for you.
