Event Details

Child Bereavement UK are delighted to be hosting this two-day masterclass, facilitated by Dr Kathy Shear, Director of the Center for Complicated Grief in New York, and Dr Susan Delaney from the Irish Hospice Foundation.

Who should attend?

This masterclass is aimed at bereavement practitioners, including psychotherapists, counsellors, health and social care workers and any professionals who provide bereavement support to adults.

Please note: complicated grief treatment is not recommended as a treatment for children and young people.

An understanding of the general principles of complicated grief theory, together with some knowledge of attachment and loss theory would be an advantage.

Places are limited therefore early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

Further information

This is a non-residential course and delegates must be able to attend both days. Fees include refreshments, a light lunch and access to treatment materials.

Please note that all delegates need to bring a form of photographic identification on both days to sign-in at the venue.

Keep in touch

If you were interested in attending training but can’t attend this session, the training team at Child Bereavement UK can keep in touch with you, just by email, to give you updates about our upcoming training, special events and conferences.
