Join TAMS as we welcome Master Composter and allotmenteer Adrian A for a practical Compost Workshop on Saturday 28th Februaar, 2026, at 11am. This event will take place at our nature-friendly TAMS Growing space at Grove Nursery, where you'll learn all about making compost in a fun and interactive environment.

During the workshop, we will guide you through the process of creating nutrient-rich compost from garden and kitchen scraps. You'll discover the benefits of composting, from reducing waste to improving soil health and promoting sustainable gardening practices.

The workshop is suitable for everyone. Get your hands dirty as you learn how to turn organic materials into black gold for your garden.

The session will last about an hour or so with refreshments. Following this we invite any enthusiastic folks to get on with helping in the garden, perhaps turning compost heaps over or mulching the beds. No need to bring anything, just remember your outdoor clothes and footwear.

Note: Car access from lane off Hazledene Road, not recycling centre.
