During this informative yet informal free course you will learn what is required to create a successful compost system. Our expert trainer, Chris Taylor, will take you through each stage step by step, providing clear instructions.The course will cover all areas of composting including:<ul><li>The theory of good composting</li><li>What is compost? </li><li>Why is it useful in the garden?</li><li>Building and managing a compost heap.</li><li>Composting techniques for smaller gardens.</li></ul>All materials will be provided but please bring gardening gloves and wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear as the course will go ahead regardless of weather conditions (shelter is available in cases of extreme weather).Refreshments will be provided during any course breaks, we simply ask for a small contribution towards these.Free parking is available on site and the site is accessible for wheelchair users, please contact us if you have any other requirements which you would like us to know about or that we may need to accommodateFor more information please contact letsgrowpreston@gmail.com
