Opening 2D files, using co-ordinate systems, creating objects, adding text to drawings using text styles, precision drawing techniques, editing methods,attributes and properties, dimensioning using dimension styles and drawing functionality.
Who is this for?
If you are a trades person, designer or home improvements specialist then learning 2D CAD for developing your designs or building layouts is perfect for you. This course is ideally suited to new users of the software, those starting a new career in computer aided design, users that may have previously used older versions of CAD and need a refresher programmes and casual users that need to understand core functionality and drawing tools.
This one day course provides you with introduction to 2D CAD and will teach CAD skills which are vital for today’s engineering workplace. Once finished this course, you willl have a very good understanding of drawing lines, properties and snaps, editing 2D geometries, creating polygons, circles and arcs. As well as scaling, copying and rotating points and curves. You will be able to use drawing commands, performing modifications and printing your 2D designs.
