About this event

The Computer Science for Fun (CS4FN) project set up by Paul Curzon and the late Peter McOwan is in its 20th year of inspiring people of all ages about Computer Science. We are therefore holding a celebration of the project and its massive impact. This will include a talk and other CS4FN demonstrations including magic.

How can I access the Graduate Centre?

Please enter the Graduate Centre via the Bancroft Road entrance. Please view the campus map: https://ph.qmul.ac.uk/sites/default/files/Article/Mile-End-campus-map.pdf The graduate centre is building 18.

I would like to drive to the event. Can I park at Queen Mary University?

Please note there is no parking available on the site and nearby street parking is expensive. If you are driving you may wish to park at the Stratford Westfield shopping centre and take the underground to Mile End.

Is there parking available for Blue Badge holders?

There are a limited number of parking spaces for Blue Badge holders, but we advise you to check with our Security Team in advance to ensure availability. Please contact for more information: mile-end-security@qmul.ac.uk, 020 7882 5000.

Is the event suitable for all ages?

The event is open to everyone from school students (11+) to adults.
