A week of talks and activities to support and inspire students and alumni in the Department of Computing to plan for their future career.

We are committed to providing access to a range of employer and industry talks for our students. Last year we launched Career Week and this year we are expanding on the success of last year&#x27;s events and offering even more opportunities for our students. We are working with some wonderful employers, alumni, Careers experts and academic staff to offer an inspiring programme of talks and activities.Some highlights - with more to be added (full list of events at the end of the page):1:1 CV &amp; Portfolio clinics with Hackajob, TT Games, alumni and othersAlumni panels for different programmes, including alumni from Splash Damage, Warner Music, ASOS, the BBC and 3RDi Industry talks and panels from Meta/Facebook, Splash Damage, Digital Catapult (Immersive), Hackajob, Random International, Theworkers, Electronic Arts, Gradcracker, Ricebox and SonyCareer planning sessions from our Careers Service and Synapse, including some sessions specifically for 1st yearsA confidence, resilience and entrepreneurial mindset workshop from Kay KukoyiThis year our structure will be as follows:Monday &amp; Tuesday - talks, panels and activities for mainly postgraduate studentsWednesday - CV &amp; Portfolio clinicsThursday &amp; Friday -talks, panels and activities for mainly undergraduate studentsSome talks will be relevant to all students, so we recommend you attend to as many as you can.
