Connect & Reflect Networking

Connect & Reflect Networking

Generator Royal MillsAncoats, England
Tuesday, Feb 24 from 10 am to 12 pm GMT
Overview

To connect people who are seeking support with their business, marketing, and health and wellbeing, with those who are able to offer it

Connect & Reflect is a new networking group created by Susan Carr and Adam Whittaker.

The purpose of the events is to bring together small business owners, aspiring business owners and people from across Manchester that support the business community. As well as the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals, the event will incorporate discussions and the latest news around health and wellbeing and marketing as well as featuring a guest speaker each month who works in or supports the Manchester business and wider community.

Susan is a counsellor who has worked both in the NHS and the charitable sector and now has her own private practice working with individuals and businesses as well as being an affiliate counsellor for a number of Employee Assistance Programmes. She works with a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, low confidence and self-esteem, relationship issues, bullying, health conditions and personal development.

Adam is a marketing consultant who has worked with a wide range of organisations over the past 25 years, including the public and private sector, small business owners, and charities. Having set up his own consultancy nearly 10 years ago, he facilitates marketing and social media workshops across the UK, offers mentoring support for small business owners and helps others by advising on all aspects of their strategic marketing activity.

Susan and Adam founded the group to connect people who are seeking support with their business, marketing, and health and wellbeing, with those who are able to offer it, but mainly to provide an opportunity for people to chat without the elevator pitch!
