Our monthly connections surgeries are an opportunity to talk to our engineers about any planned projects and benefit from their local knowledge of the network.

Our surgeries are held once a month and are currently being delivered via Microsoft Teams or over the telephone. If you're considering a new connection and want to explore your options before making an application, we can help.

What’s next?

Once you've registered, we will be in touch to confirm the time of your appointment. When registering, Eventbrite will automatically issue you with a ticket but please note that your appointment is not confirmed until we contact you. In the event you don't hear from us you can email connectionssurgeries@northernpowergrid.com or call us on 0800 011 3433.

Surgery appointments will last no longer than an hour and you'll be able to discuss a maximum of five projects during that time. You will not be able to change or add to the list of projects or sites you wish to discuss once your appointment has been confirmed.

We have a limited number of appointments available each month. Please don't request a surgery unless you have specific projects you wish to discuss so that all our customers can continue benefit from this service.

Please ensure you provide all the information requested during the booking process so that we can match you to the right Northern Powergrid engineer. We regret that we cannot progress your booking without the full information including the project name, location and postcode, connection date, technologies and capacity being considered.
