About the artists
Connor Roff:
Combining the natural beauty of West Coast Canada with London, England’s urban forest, Connor Roff's luminous music embraces and showcases his dual nationality. With his deep and soulful voice, classical piano background and self-taught guitar skills, Roff has developed a distinctive style strongly influenced by artists such as Jeff Buckley, Fleetwood Mac and Trevor Hall. Connor's songs and melodies reflect and celebrate his yoga teaching practice and passionate advocacy for the LGBT+ community. His honest and authentic songwriting induces a reflective and contemplative mood. He’s not afraid to explore the depths of both the light and the dark or combine genres such as alternative pop, folk, RnB, and even electronic. Having been a core member of the London Contemporary Voices choir, Connor naturally includes vocal layering, harmonies and soaring refrains in his music production.
Billie Maree:
Billie Maree is a songwriter, musician, and producer who draws inspiration from the complexities of human emotion and writes it into music. Billie crafts without the confines of a genre. Their work reflects influences from their love of electronic textures, organic instrumentation and expansive production. Having released their self-produced EP, “We Belong, in 2023, they have been developing their sound. Billie has played shows and festivals around the UK, where they put together a five-piece live band to give their songs the full impact they deserve. Their current style can best be described as a blend of alternative pop and ethereal electronic with a refreshing flare of compelling and imaginative songwriting. Billie has been likened to London Grammar, Florence and The Machine and Daughter.
