Scotland's oldest tabletop gaming convention is back in person for the first time since 2019!

We are excited to announce that, after a three year hiatus, Scotland’s oldest tabletop convention will be happening in person at Teviot Row House on the 14th-16th April, 2023!Conpulsion is Edinburgh’s board game and role-playing game convention. It has been running every year since 1987, except 2020 when it was cancelled due to Covid-19 (with the last two years online). It is an excellent and welcoming place for people of all ages to meet fellow board gamers, role-players, and LARPers (live-action role-players). The event includes 4 rpg slots (two each day), a board games room with demos and pick up and play games, a trade hall, a geektastic charity auction and much more!Children over 12 require a ticket to attend, and are restricted from taking part in any games rated as Adults Only. Children 12 and under will need a ticket if they want to play in any Child Friendly rated games, or are allowed free entry if they&#x27;re just accompanying a parent or guardian but not playing in any games. The Conpulsion Friday Social will be taking place in Teviot Row's Study. This free event is a great place to kick of your Conpulsion experience and catch up with con attendees.

Saturday is where the real gaming begins. You'll be able to join in board games, RPGs, and LARPs. You can also visit the Trader's Hall, and the Bring-and-Buy. The day will finish with the Conpulsion Charity Auction.

Sunday is more of the same great stuff. You'll be able to join in board games, RPGs, and LARPs. You can also visit the Trader's Hall. No Sunday Bring-and-Buy thuogh.
