Event description
BBC New Generation Artists, the Consone Quartet, perform at the historic Temple Church in aid of ATLEU's work with victims of trafficking.

About this Event

Formed at the Royal College of Music in London, the Consone Quartet is dedicated to exploring Classical and Early Romantic repertoire on period instruments. Winner of the 2016 Royal Over-Seas League Ensemble Prize in London, Consone has also just been announced as a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist 2019-21.

Consone have generously agreed to donate their performance to support the work of ATLEU (Anti Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit). Blackstone Chambers are also sponsoring this event as part of their ongoing work to combat modern slavery in the UK.

ATLEU works with victims of trafficking in the UK to ensure that they receive the help they need to rebuild their lives. All proceeds from the sale of these tickets will go to support their work.

On the evening, Consone will be playing:

  • Haydn - String Quartet in D Major, Op.20 No.4 (25')
  • Schumann - String Quartet No.2 in F major, Op.41 (25’)

Doors open at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start and the concert will end by 9pm.
