Design and build your first game! Create a paper prototype, turn it digital, test and play — no coding or art skills needed.

This workshop is part of our Careeriosity Initiative funded by Mid Suffolk and Babergh District Councils, designed to introduce young individuals (12 to 25 year olds) into the world of creative careers across the district.

Our Gaming workshop will be held at The Bank in Eye in their new digital hub - The Vault!

The session will be hosted by Rubber Ducky Snacks an Indie game developer from North Norfolk. They specialise in Motion Capture, Game creation, Game Development tools and Game Education.

What to expect:

  • You'll learn about designing games and create a paper prototype of your game.
  • Then you'll learn about game engines and convert your paper prototype into a playable game.
  • Lastly, Test and update your game and play other people's games.
  • During this workshop, you'll also learn about careers in the games industry

Important notes:

  • You don't need to understand coding or drawing for this workshop
  • Equipment is provided
