Advanced Architectural Research graduate, Nikoletta Karastathi and invited guest Jane Scott, specialist in knit design and technology at Leeds University, discuss the programming possibilities of different materials, including bio-materials and their relationship to knitting. Topics include dissident architecture, representing loss and bio-materials.We will hear from artists, architects, designers, scientists and other interdisciplinary practitioners who are at the fore-front of their industry and understand how different disciplines influence and challenge the thinking of other practices.
