The Construction Blockchain Conferences and Workshops are an annual event to fosters knowledge transfer, facilitates academic and commercial presentations, conducts research, and drives policy and regulatory discussions.

<h2><strong>Construction Blockchain 2020 is the premier conference in DLT &amp; Blockchain Technologies for the Built Environment</strong></h2><p>The CBC is delighted to announce the <a href="https://www.constructionblockchain.org/2020/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CBC2020 Annual Conference</a> titled Blockchain &amp; The Digital Thread. CBC2020 will build upon last year’s Paris symposium with involvement from leading names in the application of blockchain technology in the built environment.</p><p>The conference will be held virtually and feature keynotes and workshops across three days, with keynote sessions on Computational Construction Law and Digital Construction Management. They explore the potential disruption and applications of DLT and blockchain in the built environment and bring together leading industry and academic practitioners of the field to share and debate new knowledge.</p><p></p><h3><strong>The Construction Blockchain Consortium (CBC)</strong></h3><p>The <a href="https://www.constructionblockchain.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Construction Blockchain Consortium</a> was established to develop knowledge transfer, arrange commercial and academic presentations, assess and test commercial services and technology, conduct research, and drive policy, regulation and understanding of the consequences of Blockchain and other emerging technologies in the Built Environment. CBC is led by the UCL Department of Computer Science and The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment. We also investigate the development of open source tools on behalf of the industry and to encourage application developers to build proprietary technology and services to deliver sustainable construction solutions.</p><p></p><h3><strong> The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment</strong></h3><p>The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment (or The Bartlett) is the academic centre for the study of the built environment at <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_College_London" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">University College London</a>, the oldest institution of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_London" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">University of London</a>. It is home to the Bartlett Schools of Architecture, Planning, and Construction and Project Management, among others. UCL was ranked highest in the world for the "Architecture / Built Environment" category in the 2019 <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QS_World_University_Rankings" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">QS World University Rankings</a>.</p>
