Content Retreat
BellaCrafts WinchesterWinchester, England
Thursday, Mar 12 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm GMT
Overview
Join me to write your Spring content before Easter! We'll meet in person (in Winchester) on 12 and 19 March to write.
What you'll create
- 3 long-form pieces - these could be blog posts, newsletters, Substack articles, or Medium articles. These will help establish your expertise and your presence on the internet. I'll also show you how to repurpose them in their long form. They don't just have to sit on your website.
- I'll show you how to turn each long-form piece into at least 5 social media posts (if you prefer to write the shorter pieces first, I'll show you how to string them together into a long-form piece). In total: 15+ social posts
- 12 get-to-know-you/behind-the-scenes style posts - I'll give you prompts with examples to help you get started. You can use these on your socials and in your weekly newsletters.
How it works
- 1 planning meeting: We'll start with a 121 planning meeting via Zoom. In that meeting, we'll talk about how you want to be visible over the next three months and create a tailored plan to make that happen. This will include both content you'll create on the retreat days and an engagement strategy so you're having conversations with the people you want to connect with.
- 2 retreat days: We'll have two retreat days. This is when you'll be creating the content we planned in your planning meeting. We'll meet at Bella Crafts in Winchester to write in their Court Yard View Room. Tea/coffee and lunch will be provided. Dates: 12 and 19 March (both Thursdays) 9:30am to 3:30pm. If you need to arrive a little late or leave a little early, that's fine.
- 2 followup coaching calls: In the week following each retreat day, we'll have a 30-minute 121 coaching session via Zoom so you can ask questions and discuss any writing issues that came up for you that you didn't want to raise on the day. We'll also discuss how you're getting on with your engagement strategy and tweak it if necessary.
- 3 3-hour online sessions: In the first run of the retreat, people didn't quite finish their writing during the in=person days, so I'm offering 3 3-hour online sessions to support you to finish your content. You won't need all 3, but if you find co-working helpful, you're welcome to use them for any work you need support with. Since we work with our mics off, it doesn't really matter if we're all doing different things! We'll agree days/times for these on 12 March.
