Contentment Compass Workshop
The Contentment Compass is a reflective framework and practice that helps people visualise what a fulfilling life looks like for them.
Open to Women only
The Contentment Compass is a reflective framework and practice that helps people visualise what a fulfilling life looks like for them. It offers an alternative approach to wellbeing; helping participants reflect on the relationships, care and everyday practices that support a satisfying life. The programme is initially delivered over 2 workshops. Using the simple visual framework, people map what matters most to them and experiment with small, sustainable shifts over time. Through continued practice, the aim is to equip people with the tools they need to adapt their life for the better, even as their circumstances change.
Workshop 1
The first Contentment Compass workshop introduces the theory and practice. Working on their own, in pairs and as a group, participants reflect and map how the compass applies to their own life. They are introduced to a visualiser and are invited to record their actions for the next month. Everything is opt in and there is no pressure. The workshop sets the group up to move intentionally through the next month.
Workshop 2
In the second Contentment Compass workshop, we turn theory into actions. The group reflects on the last month (whether they used the visualiser or not) - noticing patterns, surprises, and significant moments. We consider what small shifts we might want to make, including the barriers that might stop us achieving our aims. Then Roshni introduces a method to help those shifts stick. Again the group works together and shares insights for a warm and interactive session. Participants leave with new ideas and the motivation to make positive changes.
