#CookForSyria is a month-long celebration of Syrian cuisine to raise funds and awareness for the greatest humanitarian criss of our generation. It is curated by Clerkenwellboy in collaboration with SUITCASE Magazine, Gemma Bell PR and Unicef NEXTGeneration London in aid of Unicef's Children of Syria fund.
As a nationwide campaign, we are encouraging you to dine out for a worthwhile cause.
To launch this initiative, The Store Kitchen and a top line-up of chefs are hosting an amazing event for 150 guests on Monday 31st October 2016 at 6.30pm. You will enjoy canapés and a welcome drink courtesy of The Store Kitchen and Nyetimber, followed by a four-course dinner with the support of six incredible chefs: Fergus Henderson, Nuno Mendes, Yotam Ottolenghi, Sami Tamimi, José Pizarro and Angela Hartnett. Each chef will be cooking their classic signature dish with a Syrian inspired twist. The dinner will be sharing-style to bring people together for this one special evening. Please note that there is a vegetarian option available (vegetarian dishes will be designed by The Store Kitchen) however due to the nature of the event and shared kitchen space we cannot guarantee that the vegetarian or meat based dishes served at the banquet will be free from specific allergens. The minimum donation we request per person for vegetarians is £125.
