Sendiass is a confidential and impartial information, advice and support service for parents, carers, children and young people (up to 25 years) on issues related to Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).

Relaxed session to find out what parents and carers want to know about mental capacity so that our training and info is coproduced with you.

If you missed this session, we are hosting another event to gather your views on July 19th at 10am.

Suffolk SENDIASS is offering parents and carers in our county 3 relaxed sessions to learn what kind of information you think would help you understand mental capacity regarding decisions for young people with SEND.We would like to create some information and training about this subject and we want to make sure that what we put together matches what you want to know, and is in a form which is easy for you to understand.You are welcome to join this face-to-face session for 10/15 minutes to share your thoughts, or you can stay for the whole session. Practitioners who work with families are welcome too.Refreshments will be available. We regret we cannot offer a creche. There is some parking at Red Gables and also a public car park nearby.If you are unable to make this face-to-face session, we are offering an online coproduction session in the morning and evening of June 6th 2022.
